Metropolitan

Metropolitan is the company that operates the subway in Sofia. The main goal is to relieve traffic in the capital and to provide safe and fast transport for the citizens.

The metro in Sofia was put into operation in 1998 and by July 2016 it has a total length of 40 km with 35 metro stations.
